My role in the studio is Director of Product Design, Practice Lead for OpenDigital, the digital consultancy of OST. I consider myself an eternal optimist with a high capacity for details. My background in Industrial Design, drives me to seek out users’ needs and answer them in the execution of the product.

I channel my passion for sharing with community as the local leader for IxDA Grand Rapids and as Co-Founder of Ladies that UX Grand Rapids. I also enjoy giving back by teaching locally through coLearning at The Factory and at Kendall College of Art and Design. In the courses I've  covered concepts and methodologies of product and user experience design through various digital formats such as mobile, web or desktop applications. My range of current work is anything from connected experiences to product design strategy.
